Cancer: Evolution To Revolution

A Peabody Award-Winning film, Cancer: Evolution to Revolution, is a two-and-a-half hour special made for HBO looking at cancer at the end of 20th century. The director also delves into his own personal story documenting his own family’s prevalence of cancer. The film was the focus of a national print campaign, which described it as “150 minutes of television that could save your life”. Reviewing for The New York Times, Jane Brody wrote, “It is rare indeed for commercial television to produce a program of such high-quality as the two-and-a-half-hour documentary”.
